WP: Copy/Paste & Spelling

1. Use the mouse to select the following title and two paragraphs, then paste them into a Word document. The red underlines will tell you where the spelling errors are. Put the mouse pointer on top of each mispelled word, right click, and select the proper spelling from the list. Copy this:

A crowwd of thowsants gathered in Grant Park, in Chickago, Illinoise, on November 4, awaiting a moement that many thout they would never cee. Shortley after 10:00 P.M. in Shicago, that moment arrived, bringin with it a sense of histerical significantce that seemed to overwelm meany in the crowd. Senetor Barack Obama became the Precident-elect of the United States.

While evrey new presidencY is the beginnin of a new eara in the United States, Obamas victory is a remarkinble milestone. He is the first African-American elected to the office. As recently as 45 years ago, many AfricanAmericans were not even asured of the’ir riht to vote in an election. Hes messege of hopi and change connectedy with a majority of voters in the states with the bigest poplations. His runnin mayte, Senador Joseph Biden of delaware, will be the nex Vicer President.
